Adult Ballet
The Dublin City Ballet School, offer a range of adult ballet classes to meet the needs and ability of our adult students. All our adult ballet classes are for the love of ballet and are set in a non-competitive & cultural environment.
Whether you are a complete beginner looking to start your ballet journey or a dancer returning to ballet after many years we aim to have the class for you. Our barre fitness class is perfect for those looking to workout like a dancer and achieve that “dancers body”
Ballet is excellent for improving posture, flexibility, co-ordination, muscle strength and toning, it has the advantage of working the entire body in just one class. It is a great way to build self-confidence and can also be an outlet; helping to relieve stress and anxiety.
All our weekly classes are taught by qualified RAD ballet teachers from the Dublin City Ballet School.
Complete Beginner & Improver Ballet
Our Beginner Improver Ballet course provides a fun introduction to ballet. Here students will cover basic ballet principles in a supportive and encouraging environment. Ballet terminology will be explained and demystified. It’s a perfect course for complete beginners & improver dancers.
All our ballet classes are for fun, fitness and the love of ballet set in a non-competitive environment. This allows all students to reach their best potential in their own time.
Our 75 minute class covers a short body warm-up, barre work, centre practice, allegro (jumps), pirouettes (turns) and some choreographed phrases.

Open Level Ballet
We welcome dancers with previous ballet experience to our Open Level Ballet class. It is Grade 6 standard class, for dances who know ballet terminology. It is a perfect class for dancers returning to ballet or who have progressed from our Thursday Beginner Ballet course who are up for the challenge.
Our classes are designed for fun, fitness and the love of ballet & dance and are set in a non-competitive environment.
This quick paced 75 minute ballet class will consist of a short warm-up, barre work, centre practice, allegro, pirouettes and some choreographed sequences across the room.

Barre Fitness
Barre fitness is a super-energising, full-body workout that's great for everyone, from beginners to pros. It is a hybrid ballet fitness class that involves performing small, isometric movements on the barre & centre, using only bodyweight as resistance.
During this full-body workout we build on alignment, strengthen your core, burn calories and tone & elongate muscles.
Our weekly classes are taught by qualified RAD ballet teachers from the Dublin City Ballet School.
Class consists of a short warmup, barre work then into the centre for some quick cardio & it finishes off with a cool-down.
Ballet is excellent for improving posture, flexibility, co-ordination, muscle strength and toning. Barre Fitness in particular strengthens and tones all leg muscles, abdominal muscles and gluteus.
